...just to add RTO after V1 is for catastrophic failure when the ship is unflyable...so yes if you lose a wing or hit a fuel truck and burst into flames then I suppose you have no choice...either way it looks pretty bad

what if a meteorite hits you after V1 or the sky falls after V1...
