Good to see some encouraging news for a change. I just wanted to ask which you think is the better option for a young low hour pilot like myself (currently rated on A320 but with no hrs on type)...

Do I shell out €30K for 500hrs on type, taking a chance as with no garauntee of a job at the end?

Or....

Go with Ryanair and pay similar money to retrain on the B737 and work for them?

Im currently working at a normal job and am only 21 and wont have the money until January 2011 anyway but just wanted some advice as I'm going to have to make a decision whether to renew my A320 licence in the next few months...

Not wishing to open the debate about the morals of pay-to-work just looking for some expert advice
