This does sound too good to be true.
Sounds like BS, 17kUSD net of taxes equates to around 24.5K before tax, I have not heard of any Chinese airline paying this. ( Air China do not pay that much for A330 skippers ) I would be very surprised if Spring could afford to pay way above the average in China.
Read the other thread regarding Chinese airlines and you will soon learn that lies and deceipt are an artform around here.
