I do all of my logbook calcs on the HanDBase desktop program, which is capable of those simple requirements, printing, etc. The desktop program will export to excel, .csv, text and a few others.

I personally still do my flight & duty limits by hand, um..., not usually something I come close to.....

I've tried a couple of DB's, this one slightly less capable in terms of complex operators, but a lot faster on search, sort, recalc, very stable and simple to use. Same sort of thing you like in an airplane.

Yes, a Palm can get a virus, but they're very rare, and usually fairly simple to eradicate. Unlike Windows, the Palm OS is very simple and straightforward, not such a great environment for a virus to hide. Nor do you "connect" to another device very often, a bit like being in constant quarantine.
