Have to agree with Dest on this. You're a freeloader, trying to get all the benefits with none of the cost. RIAT is a major source if income to a very important charity - but obviously no "donation" from you!
I can remember when the old Bournemouth Airshow was dropped after 1991 because so many people watched it for free parking in farmers' fields (the farmers were happy - they charged a bit for parking). Not only did the show lose money but many display pilots complained of large numbers of people in areas which were supposed to be clear for display purposes.
Mind you the people along the southern perimeter road must have got a shock when the Canberra burst a type on landing and veered off the runway towards them!
