No dust problem during landing / take-off
In Iran ( in the better days... ), the Iranian National Oil Company would send a tanker truck - filled with crude oil - hundreds of KM's to a selected -temporary- helicopter landing site and sprayed many barrels crude oil over the sand / dust. It worked very well except that it awoke the scorpions that came crawling to the surface and it could become slippery after rain.
