For those of you who do not already know this:
It has become some kind of (pervert) "sport" to hunt helicopters and planes with laser pointers.
On youtube and co you can find lots of instructions about how to turn a 5$-Laser pointer into a high-energy laser pointer for just a few bucks.
Those high-energy lasers can have a variety of consequencs:
-light can be spread over the whole windscreen (spreaded by invisible scratches in the glas/plexi) overlying all the instruments..
-distracting the attention of the pilot to another point (it is just normal that the light is attracting your attention)
-with googles/glasses, the laser beam can destroy your eye in an instant-you are blind/handicaped forever (this i did not know before...and it can happen also WITHOUT googles....in case it is a manipulated laser...)
Hopefully all these "kids" are just imprisoned for doing such dangerous attacks....
