If this Borghetti guy is as good as everyone thinks he is, why was he overlooked for the top job at Qantas?
Seems to me he's leading
VB into no mans land, i.e a bit of low cost, a bit of full service airline.
Qantas has already smashed them in the low cost department by introducing Jetstar, so Virgin decide to take Qantas on at their bread and butter.
The smart money is on Qantas at this game, and once
VB lose out, where does that leave them? Not really low cost and definitely not full service, therefore no longer in business.....
