Do not agree.If you look in the AIP AD-6-6 section for EGCC SID's, they are listed as POL5R, POL4S ,POL1Z and POL1Y. No mention anywhere about POLE HILL5R etc,etc. EGGP's are called POL4T and POL5V. EGNM call theirs POL1W or POL1X. The beacon is correctly named POLE HILL but once again to confuse matters, if you tune into it on 112.10mhz you get P-O-L as the ident. I would say that the correct way is just POL..., because that is what is on the AIP SID plates. Secondly POL... is also what appears on the flight progress strip once a flight plan has been filed.
