Anyone remember the Limassol Wine Festival in the park? You bought an empty carafe at the gate - 50 mils (one shilling, or 5p) as I recall - and you just had it refilled
gratis from the various stands. They used to drain the ornamental pool and fill it with that wine that
DD mentioned, an open invitation to have squaddies swimming in it by the end of the evening.
