1.ASW single handedly has to fund the running of the airport . No it its does not
the Royal Navy pays a big percentage of the running costs with its British International contract.
2.A way needs to be found to separate ASW and the airport. No, once again it does not, as the business model of ASW using PLH works on the basis that the competitors like Flymaybe cannot operate out of PLH. Also i would imagine our landing fees for ASW at PLH is really just a case of creative accounting.
3.If ASW wants to survive as a airline they need to dump the responsibility of PLH.
The reverse is true , by continuing to use PLH offers protection from the likes of
Flymaybe.
ASW is a great little airline and SHH have taken us as far as they can, we just need to be taken to the next level by Airline people not a developer.
