I believe the qantas sale act now allows 49% of qantas to be foreign owned.
Surely sq could get into

Maybe not majority but a substantial holding surely.Minimum 19%, seat or 2 on the board.

2 strong airlines, more competition on biz routes.One could well argue sq coming into
vb would be pro competiton.
It maybe politically sensitive but anti competitive or against the national interest, I cant see the argument.
