The Airvan is a slow box, but also a brilliant design. In terms of cockpit layout, visibility, loading, entry/exits, payload, handling and safety, it is light years ahead of the C206 it was designed to replace. It is a pleasure to fly, not a chore.
If one had to crash, it would be one of best machines to crash in.
Just a shame it's not Australian any more.
