The text editor embedded in the forum posts display does seem to respond to carriage returns at least.
I doubt there is a software~processor interpretation problem in Airbus aircraft
I agree though many would like (or think they would like) a bit more manual reversion in instrumentation and controls than appears to be the case in some modern aircraft...
