Back in 196ty something, on a Britannia 312 out of Istambul to Bombay we had a corona streaming out front off the nose, till BANG.
The radar jammed (dome partly collapsed)
And we flew 5 knots faster than the book all the rest of the way ( It was real,we got there quicker too).
