Coincidentally I have just been called by Talk Talk as I am their customer, paying for calls only diverted by their "widgets" from my Virgin Media cable, which provides Broadband as well as the Telephone Line (£20/month incl line rental). TT will take over all of that for the same price but all calls will be free, incl non-geog low cost and certain international destinations. Only when I spoke to the "New Line Specialist" did it become clear that the new line would be an overhead one, in an area where there are now none! Retro or what? Sorry if this is thread drift but TT seem to be becoming very keen to expand all of their customer bases suddenly.
