Never seen them being used over here (UK) normal logbooks seem fine for the basic info etc, always good to have a back up be it on computer or written where u can add the odd remark which wouldn't look too good in the log
Also from the site you wiil see it has not been updated since 1998!!!!! says something about the setup I guess.
