I believe work is starting on the arrivals building at end of the summer
At the moment the front of the airport is being smartened up with traffic lights road alignment , pavements etc all being put in place to the front of the terminal
The Air Traffic Control training centre is closing down next year , so a rather large building originally orange ! is going to become vacant . Dont know what plans are in store for this , possible hotel would be obvious but could eventually be knocked down for ramp space or extension to the terminal
However before all that happens we need to get an airline in now that is going to commit to Bournemouth and grow with it ( still no sign of Ryanairs winter plan and time is marching on , the airport will loose valuable passengers )
