TGG and TGF were sent to Darwin following cyclone Tracy. The Doves were grounded for a short time due 4 of them being in the hangar at the time Tracy went over and when the hangar doors came off the doves got entangled.
The two Otters remained with NTAMS until the N24 arrived and started replacing the Doves. Had the pleasure of being there and flying all three types. Dove was my favourite.
