1. Tim Jeans is now the Managing Director of the My Travel low cost schedule. As he remains at Ryanair they are unlikely to compete.
2. The first expected schedules are Nice, Malaga and Barcelona. None are served by FR. In fact FR haven't even started into Spain and won't for another year or 2.
Seems more complimentary than competitive move. Jeans knows PIK well and is being offered a whole package for flight Operations and a call centre etc.
FR are shortly to announce their new maintenance base. what price is to be PIK and My Travel will start with B737s ???
