When I was involved with the concession process, I understood it to be a 25 year deal with options to extend. With so little time remaining on the concession, ACDL were unwilling to capital invest as there was too little time to repay until in theory, they handed the airport back to the town. Things may have changed in recent times though?
As I have said previously, the deal done by LBC was superb for the town, questionable for the airport?
