Bordeaux Airport
Just returned yesterday with FR from Bordeaux. I am a regular to that part of the world and was delighted when Mr O Leary decided to go direct from Cork.
He has done some kind of deal with the Airport and is based in a galvanised shed next door to the main Terminal which they call BILLI . The faclities here are overcrowded and very hot. The old terminal which EI still fly into from Dublin is so much better.
My friend who was travelling with me got all the way Air-side in the other terminal and there was consternation trying to get him back out and over to the shed however the security staff were very helpful unlike the shower we have here in Cork who are overly paranoid . Thank God we did not give FR the old terminal here as it does give a very bad impression when you arrive and leave if the facilities are crap.
