One question that had been bothering me is that what kind of engines that CX fleets use? Some sites indicate that the RR Trents are the ones used but just wondering if there's a site listing all the engines used by their fleet.
Take a peek at the last page in the in flight magazine on your flight over. It has some nice fleet details in it. You can find engine details on the Boeing and Airbus websites. For example, the 777-300ER only uses GE90-115B engines (
Boeing: Commercial Airplanes -- 777-200LR/-300ER Technical Characteristics) therefore you now know that Cathay uses those engines on it's 300ER fleet..
