Anyone been across the Irish sea to Cork? Where is the best crossing point?
In a light single route down towards BCN (Brecon) and then to STU (strumble) Then direct.
Direct will take you a little away from the south coast of Ireland so pick up the land visually and work your way along the coast past Waterford to Cork.
Specatular scenery mountains and coast and usually quite a few ships to keep you happy for the crossing.
Nice restaurants in Cork too try Browns by the quays did that run 50 times in one year in a twin. Also take a trip out to Kinsale. Have fun.
Only down side is Cork is notorious for its on minima cloudbases so keep your IR currency up as I have left the UK in cavok to still find Cork with its low clouds and drizzle
