Actually id rather the bloke in command concentrated on doing what he is paid to do and not prat about playing the court jester , i wouldnt expect the guy driving my train or bus to do a double act so why the guy in command of the aircraft?, some may feel flattered the captain is trying to entertain them ,not me im afraid id rather he spent any spare time he has preparing for the task in hand.
