Your comment regarding the F16 is quite close to the truth. Have recently been asked by an Extra display pilot to arrange a photoshoot of him in formation with an F16. Am currently trying to get hold of something hot enough to do it but cheap enough to be able to afford to do it. My Cessna 310 has coloured perspex so is not suitable. One thought is to get uncle sam to lend another F16. Now that would be a good session. Unfortunately as I normally do most of the formation flying and the others in the team do most of the lens work I think I might just miss out here somewhere.
Have previously been asked about where the various pics of which I talk appear. Most of the pictures creditted to 'PILOT Archive' in PILOT magazine are taken by the seething based team which I am responsible for organising. Also the team are hoping to populate the new PILOT website when it is launched later in the year with a gallery feature. Current picture count is 5,000 although many of these are multiple shots of the same aircraft. We seem to have an abundance of Jodel, Tiger Moth, and Chipmunk pictures (my regular mounts). As in previous posts a reminder that we can produce for you a CD rom with 30 or so pics for free providing you fly to Seething for the shoot. Your aircraft may then appear in PILOT in the future to illustrate an article. Ideally not Jodels, Tiger Moths or Chipmunks but allcomers accepted.
