Heard this one on the r/t a few years back, can't remember the callsign of the a/c

ATC - "XXX say altitude"

Smart-assed plank pilot - "Altitude"

ATC, without even pausing for breath - "XXX, say Doneb, hold"

Only one winner there i'm afraid
