Very bad news about the Jersey route !
Hardly seems like the ink had dried on the bill boards announcing the route !
This really is not the news that Bournemouth needs to have so soon after the opening of the terminal where they should be actively filling the terminal with new passengers not loosing them . Especially with Ryanairs game playing going on at the moment
What Bournemouth needs and keep saying this , is a carrier in the 50 seat cat. where destinations like Edinburgh , Glasgow and indeed Jersey could support it and work
Although a brave move by BMI baby to start a route with an all singing and dancing kick off with the promise of more destinations to come possibly , and forward booking s were good , they dont seem to have the reliability to keep a route going ( like many of their routes ) and to with draw it after 2 months does not give a fair chance to the airport or indeed travel agents to promote and sell it .( 148 seater is again to big to operate this service)
Bournemouth will become unpopular with the public and be seen to be an unreliable airport if they are not careful , with route launches galore then dropped very quickly by the airlines involved
