I hate to state facts here!
but
There is a new procedure from Airbus for the 330 [newly arrived at my airline anyway]

It basically states to lower the nose [with a note that this may need a reduction in thrust] then start to smoothly increase thrust while accelerating and to go flaps1 [LE devices] if below 20000' [sorry BOAC]

Underslung engines may create more pitch up at low speeds/high AOA than elevator can pitch down!
