Strange you say you agree with Frfly when actually you agree with me !!
A large % of the people of Dorset etc do not wish to fly to "bucket and spade resorts", and would rather fly to cities such as Rome, Berlin, Madrid
etc etc but are denied the chance - therefore they still travel via LGW and Stansted.
To compare others such as Air Berlin is pointless ! How could they be designed for BOH clients when nobody had heard of Paderborn unless you were in HM Forces.
Ryr used to fly to somewhere near Frankfurt and by all accounts the loads were good - but for some reason it didn't suit Ryr so they pulled it!
There have been many requests for its reinstatement - or better still Berlin or other cities.
And Wizzair tried to cash in on the Polish migrant population of the BOH area - all well at the start but most of these were temp residents and have now gone back "home" !
