At the end of the day who gives a "fig" how many Ryanairs are based at BOH. It has always seemed to me that the flight times and destinations are for the benefit of incoming pax, not Dorset people or other "locals".
Same goes for the baby and flybe flights - its something for Man and EMA aircraft to do to fill in spare time wherever they are in the middle of the day - and an attempt by MAG to promote their latest airport expansion.
For me it was much better a few years ago when the apron was buzzing with a diversity of airlines - Futura, Iberworld ,XL , Euro Atlantic to name but a few.
If Ryanair were the slightest bit interested in BOH clientel they would offer flights to the European Capitals, German Cities etc at sensible times when day returns on business would be possible.
