If FR are asking MAG for further discounts at BOH, MAG should be handing it to them on a silver platter. In this time of economic uncertainty BOH has been lucky to still retain the schedules it currently enjoys.
Why should they??? IF BOH has made a large investment on infrastructure then they are entitled to make a small return on that investment and not a loss by charging fees below cost.
Maybe BOH could take a leaf out of Ryanair’s book by having prices in pennies but then having lots of extra charges like taxiing charges that are charged by the inch, extra parking charges if more than two wheels are parked on the apron but free if they can get it down to two and a runway usage charge if Ryanair need to use the runway.
