The reason most of us want to become pilots is not for the money, its all about flying. Making a living off it ,is just a added bonus. If you in aviation purely for the money I think your wasting your years and $$.

Unfortunately you will realise how idiotic this comment is after it is far too late. No one is unrealistic, we dont do it to earn a million dollars, however! I can not stress this enough;
If you only want to fly for fun, do not do so at the expense of those who do it for a living.
NB I've mentored many young
career aviators and those who are realistic do not get this attitude.
