That includes a bit of living costs too.
I had to instruct - which I enjoyed, but add another 7k for that as I couldn't find an airline gig. Expect a low wage for a bit if you do instruct. If you get your first job, the reality is about 23k the first year, slowly rising. If you have a loan, mortgage, family, car etc... try to balance all of that on a poor salary and concentrate on doing a TR or the job itself. Rows at home, no money to put fuel in the car to get to work. The cycle stinks!!!!
If someone is offering to give you a golden shake, grab it. The water here isn't cold, but is definately isn't warm for the first 10 years.
Let your head make the decision, not the ambition.
If the head says yes, go for it, but don't expect an easy ride - and many don't make it.
