If they charge each applicant a fee of $1000 just to apply they will make $20 million up front , thats half an airbus.Or a super bonus for managers.
Its like GA many years ago when you had to offer your services for free just to get hours up. Now you get to fly a Jet.
I honestly think if you are switched on enough and get a uni degree after 4 years you can get a better paid job , buy a house etc rather than a job that has a mortgage on it. If it takes 10 years longer to buy a house being a pilot than an ex uni student who took 5 years, then your house will probably cost double.
Its all about the cash ..............
