Whether it is called a training loan/ fee help or whatever I would strongly advise getting proper tax advice prior to signing up as the repayment should be in post tax dollars as the training and loan was undertaken before you were employed in whatever position you are now being paid for.
Truth is, like many tax "effective" arrangements, you will get away with anything until it is audited by the tax department then they come hunting you for the thousands you may have incorrectly claimed.
On the upside you will still be earning so little compared to community standards that there will not be too much tax anyhow.
