I see that they are only recommending the use of the listed headsets so hopefully sense will prevail. Easy to check if your own headset matches the ARINC spec, pretty sure most will.
Interesting that they say that they never certified a headset adapter and that different jacks require a wiring mod. Our lot use an adapter to convert from XLR (installed in the a/c) to jack plugs which is what the company headsets use, perhaps they will have to re-think.
