It DOES look like fun and has the added advantage that you will know exactly what state the machine and its parts are in! It will have the personal touch and attatchment that entails. It would be heartless to sell it...
I would say an F33C Bonanza I used to fly was probably one of the finest 'pilots aeroplane' I ever flew.
Those other restored aircraft look first class!
