I am totally confused.
Little information on this accident, the only person who appears to know something of what happened says "good pilot, WX not the problem" yet massive rush to judgement of "pilot should have known better" "poor WX planning" = pilot error.
Another thread - Norway accident - professional pilot with passengers. Over MTW, outside C of G, back side of the power slope (perhaps even hovering OGE) with a fog bank preventing continued transit to destination. No rush to judgement against the pilot.
Is that what a CPL buys you over a PPL? Being treated here with a little more respect?
