i dont think iom loaders machinery can be at blame,both loaders and caterers have to get extremely close to aircraft and so yes,accidents will happen and do happen at airports all over the world,not just the iom.
The iom loaders,in general,dont give a damn when they hit an aircraft with no appology offered. They know there will be no comeback and whilst many might think they must be punished,we must have a no-blame culture to encourage reporting of ALL aircraft damage.We all know that even the the slightest ammount of damage to a pressurised hull can be catastrophic if not reported!
Maybe something discreet like a re-training session is the answer.
