I've just found a photo of the F3 in a 1996 publication. It first flew in 1995. I'm sure it is the same aircraft but didn't think to look that far back!
My own fault for not reading the clue properly: RR does say produced in 2001....which on subsequent investigation it was although its first flight was in 1995.
