@silentscream: yes i would get a PPL from the US. But I have heard that it is difficult to get a foreign PPL converted. So would it be better if I just gave the exams again?

Another question for the experts here: there are a couple of schools offering "express flight training": 2/3 hours a day finishing off the 60 required hours in 20-25 working days. This in contrast to the Govt flying institutes where daily averages are much less.

Which is better from the learning perspective? Does an expedited schedule of 2/3 hours a day allow for the kind of learning required?
