The world hates uncertainty. For example, who knows how the Gulf of Mexico catastrophe is going to play out. The 'strategic' demise of BP is too awful to contemplate, but by the way the US law department, backed by Obama, is about to investigate, it's a worry. Very uncertain times ahead indeed. All of this is, obviously, out of 'our' control, but...
..might I be so bold as to suggest that, at a tactical level, if you are a striker, and sat at home worried sick about the immediate uncertainty ahead in your life, can I make a suggestion. Phone a friend, explain that you hate uncertainty and you'd like to take back a little control over things (like your finances).
