Until they are actually, formally agreed, Bassa cannot take anything for granted.
A ballot is issued relating to the return of staff travel but in the meantime Walsh removes the offer from the table relating to alllllll the other things that have been discussed. So another ballot has to be sent for those issues.... I think this will go on, and on, and on.
And with regards to a staff travel ballot, it's going to be difficult.
Those who have lost it will undoubtedly vote YES to strike. But those who haven't lost it - and there are lots of them who have been at Bedfont - will without doubt vote NO. Why, afterall, would one person go on strike and lose THEIR staff travel in order to get staff travel given back to someone else?
