Nice to see developments for Aer Arann and an interest in Shannon. However, I would expect Ryanair to reinstate competing routes to all but Manchester. Given the effort that Ryanair made in previous years to put Aer Arann's lights out it would seem most unlikely that they will stand idly by and let Aer Arann have this to themselves.
Aer Arann have picked up a few routes in the wake of Ryanair eg Dublin-Cardiff, Blackpool, Durham & Doncaster. If Shannon is left to Aer Arann in the guise of Aer Lingus Regional they should do well.
