Folks -
I have several friends who fear flying, for the normal phobic reasons.
I have been able to use Tech Log to glean real information which I have been able to pass on, which in turn has helped.
So thank you very much for the great discussions and the wisdom passed around herein - your questions and answers have helped more than pilots.
(I also love some of the "finer points" debates seen in these threads - nothing beats a bunch of techs and pilots duking things out, except maybe Jello wrestling featuring Swedes!)
