Can you help Sean reach his target?
'Sean Hughes is one of our greatest fans and desperately needs your help and support. He was born with Leukaemia in 2001 and he had a stem cell transplant in Jan 2002. Sadly now Sean is in an electric wheelchair given to him by Whizz-Kidz.
Sean loves "his" Lancaster and loves to call in to see the Flight at RAF Coningsby. He trys to get to see the Lancaster after school with his grandad, Ray. Sometimes he goes in the hangar or if not will peep through the fence to see if the doors are open - in the summer he has to get his "Lancaster fix" every day!
This fantastic young man is doing a sponsored wheelchair ride on the 3rd June 2010 from his home in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire. This ride is 4 miles long and to make sure he gets noticed, Sean will be wearing his own BBMF black flying suit when he does the sponsored ride.
The money raised by Sean will go to Whizz-Kidz for another child who will need a wheelchair like his. These wheelchair's can cost around £8,000 and more, so every little bit helps.'
