Thanks Check six, have performed the search and read extensively the various pros and cons. It looks like you boys didn't get the pay deal you were hoping for recently. Trust me I know the feeling - no decent pay deal at the large BRITISH AIRline I'm working for.
Like others had envisaged the pay to be better and didn't appreciate inflation in UAE. Last in Dubai 2 years ago and had a hoot, ex army brat myself so like the ex pat lifestyle. Just tried to apply on the web site but site threw a tantrum - will try again tomorrow.
By the way I have 2700 TT, ex cadet on B757/767. Seems a bit lowly compared to some of the guys banding about 10000 hrs 2000 PIC etc. If I get through the application will I sit in a pool forever - am I wasting my time?
