BEA and the french navy will get their acts together to better understand and interpret the Emeraud's recordings
I have another concern - it is highly likely that several aspects of great significance related to the recordings, how they were made, and Emeraud's systems that are highly classified and consequentially greatly limit how much 'outside help' (i.e. non-French) can be used. Although Thales
should be the best positioned to assist the Navy in decoding whatever mysteries the recordings contain, it would difficult to imagine that other input would not be useful.
I'm not sure who are the known underwater acoustics powerhouses are - but it would seem worthwhile having another set of experts analyze the data and see if they can independently come up with other suggestions - I'm suspicious though that would be prevented due to national security concerns. Thoughts?
