Unite/BASSA want Willie Walsh to step aside
News media have been reporting that Unite/BASSA want Willie Walsh to step aside and let Keith Williams do the negotiating for BA as they feel that he is a "reasonable manager".
Somehow, I don't think this is going to happen. And isn't it a bit rich for a disunited union to try and suggest that there is a split at the top of BA? It reminds me of that old saying of "looking at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye".
